Omar Higgs is a Decision Confidence, Business Transformation, and Analytics Strategy leader driven by a passion for helping people build confidence in how they understand, communicate, and act on data.

A graduate of the UCLA–NUS Global Executive MBA program with over 30 years of data experience, he has spent over 15 years guiding teams, executives, and organizations toward smarter, data-driven decisions.

Throughout his career at UCLA, Accenture, and in consulting, Omar has led initiatives that bridge business and technology—making data accessible, meaningful, and actionable.

Over the years, Omar recognized a recurring challenge across organizations: teams often had access to dashboards, reports, and analytics tools, yet still lacked the confidence to independently interpret data and act decisively. He observed that the true barrier to transformation was rarely technology alone—it was uncertainty, hesitation, and the gap between understanding data and trusting it enough to use it effectively.

This realization led him to found the Intellicient Data Confidence Academy® (IDCA®), an organization focused on helping professionals and enterprises close the gap between data literacy and data confidence. Through immersive learning experiences, executive enablement, and practical business-focused coaching, IDCA® was created to help organizations build cultures where data becomes not just available—but actionable, trusted, and embedded into decision-making at every level.
