Executive Decision Confidence Institute™
IDCA® Executive Decision Confidence Institute™
Develop the Capability to Lead Decisions That Matter.
A proposed 16-week executive development experience designed around consequential enterprise decisions, evidence-based judgment, decision governance, executive communication, and measurable organizational impact.
Participants apply their learning to a real organizational decision challenge while developing an integrated portfolio of executive evidence.

Program Overview
A Rigorous Executive Learning Experience.
The Leadership Immersion is not a software course and not an analytics course. It is a facilitated executive development experience in which each participant carries a live organizational decision through the full architecture of confidence: framing, evidence, governance, transformation, and defense.
Participants work individually and as an executive cohort, producing a connected portfolio of enterprise evidence rather than a set of disconnected assignments.
Curriculum detail remains subject to academic approval in Enable. Nothing on this page represents approved curriculum, assessment standards, or credential entitlement.

Executive Baseline & Decision Framing
Establish the enterprise challenge and initial Executive Decision Charter™.
Week 3
Three-Day Executive Immersion
Challenge assumptions, examine evidence, and practice executive judgment.
Weeks 4–11
Executive Collective™
Apply, test, and refine decisions through peer learning and workplace evidence.
Weeks 12–16
Enterprise Transformation & Decision Defense

This review occurs outside the 16-week instructional period.
Connected Executive Evidence
Five Artifacts. One Enterprise Decision.
Each artifact demonstrates a distinct executive capability, and each depends on the one before it. Together they form a single body of evidence about one real organizational decision.
Executive Decision Charter™
Framing a consequential decision with explicit scope, authority, criteria, and constraints.
Establishes the decision of record that every later artifact is accountable to.
Enterprise Evidence & Risk Register™
Judging evidence quality, surfacing assumptions, and making uncertainty explicit.
Documents what is known, what is assumed, and what could invalidate the recommendation.
Decision Governance Blueprint™
Assigning decision rights, escalation paths, independent challenge, and oversight.
Shows who decides, who is consulted, and how the decision is governed after it is made.
Enterprise Decision Transformation Case™
Connecting the decision to implementation, adoption, and measurable enterprise value.
Translates the decision into an executable case with owners and outcome measures.
Executive Decision Defense Portfolio™
Communicating and defending the recommendation under independent challenge.
Integrates the preceding artifacts into one defensible executive body of evidence.
Artifact definitions are summarized for public understanding. Participant templates, rubrics, and assessment instruments are not published.

Applied Executive Simulations
Practice Under Conditions That Resemble the Real Ones.
Simulations place participants inside the conditions that make executive decisions difficult: competing measures, cross-functional breakdown, machine-generated recommendations, and formal challenge.
Conflicting KPI Review
Reconcile competing performance measures before a decision is committed.
Cross-Functional Decision Breakdown
Repair a stalled cross-functional decision by clarifying rights, evidence, and accountability.
AI-Assisted Executive Recommendation
Interrogate an AI-generated recommendation and decide what oversight it requires.
Board Decision Defense
Defend a recommendation under independent executive challenge.
Simulation design, case materials, and scoring remain subject to academic approval and are not published.
Academic Rigor
Applied Learning. Defensible Evidence. Executive Accountability.
Successful participation is intended to require demonstrated capability, not attendance alone. Progress is evidenced through artifacts that withstand independent review.
Academic standards, assessment governance, and any credential entitlement remain subject to approval in Enable. No credential is offered, issued, or implied by this page.

Frequently Asked Questions
Program Questions.
Who is the program designed for?
The Institute is designed for established senior leaders who are accountable for consequential enterprise decisions—C-suite executives, senior vice presidents and vice presidents, transformation, strategy, performance, data, analytics and AI leaders, and the sponsors responsible for executive development. Admission criteria are subject to academic approval and are not yet published.
What is the expected time commitment?
The proposed experience runs 16 weeks, combining an executive orientation period, a three-day immersion, an eight-week facilitated Executive Collective™, and a transformation and defense period. A 90-day impact review follows outside the instructional period.
What is the role of the enterprise decision challenge?
Each participant works on a real organizational decision from their own remit. The challenge is the vehicle for every artifact and for the final independent decision defense—it is not a case study drawn from a fictional company.
How does the Executive Collective™ work?
The Collective is eight weeks of facilitated executive learning with peer challenge and workplace application. Participants develop their evidence progressively and are challenged by peers and facilitators before the decision defense.
How are participants assessed?
The proposed model requires demonstrated capability rather than attendance alone: structured evidence artifacts, facilitated feedback, executive simulations, independent assessment, and an executive decision defense.
Can organizations sponsor executive teams?
Yes. Enterprise-sponsored engagements are intended to support leadership alignment, decision governance maturity, and transformation. Sponsorship scope is discussed directly with the IDCA team.
How do I learn about future cohorts?
Executive cohort scheduling is governed by the Global Delivery Calendar. Cohort dates, availability, and capacity are announced only after program and delivery approval; inquiries are the appropriate way to register interest now.
What happens after the 16-week experience?
Participants complete a 90-day impact review covering implementation progress, adoption, and organizational impact. Credential entitlements are not yet defined and will only be described once certification policy is approved.
